The necessary measures are taken to prevent possible accidents arising from process safety; through training, awareness-raising and communication activities, the awareness of our employees, contractors, suppliers, visitors, neighbors and public authorities on the subject is increased. By implementing the “Occupational Health and Safety Management System,” the continuous development of our systems is ensured through periodic reviews and performance monitoring.

• All managers within Fiskobirlik are responsible for the occupational health and safety of all employees and visitors under their management or control.
• In order to achieve the goal of zero occupational accidents and occupational diseases, the risks arising from our operations, from new products and processes, and from changes in production lines and departments are identified and assessed, and through the work carried out these risks are eliminated and/or reduced to an acceptable level.
• From the design stage of products through to consumption, all raw materials, packaging materials, machinery and equipment used are evaluated in terms of chemical, biological and physical hazards and are put through an approval process.
• By establishing Occupational Health and Safety Management Programs, significant occupational health and safety risks are identified and targets are set for continuous improvement.
• Key Performance Indicators relating to Occupational Health and Safety are measured and reported.
• All incidents and accidents that occur during our activities, or that have the potential to result in injury, are investigated and the necessary improvements are made to prevent their recurrence.
• Through information and training programs, all of our employees and visitors in our areas of operation are provided with the necessary skills and competencies relating to occupational health and safety, and are enabled to increase their personal awareness.
• We act attentively and responsibly with regard to current occupational health and safety issues, information and public sensitivities, and by working together with all of our stakeholders, we ensure the development of a health and safety culture and the improvement of standards.
