PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
As S.S. Hazelnut Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union (hereinafter referred to as “Fiskobirlik”), protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of our customers, suppliers, tenants and lessors, and in particular safeguarding the confidentiality of their private lives and ensuring and maintaining information security, are among our foremost principles; accordingly, we wish to inform you about the “Protection of Personal Data.” Fiskobirlik reserves the right to update this Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data at any time in line with any amendments that may be made to the applicable legislation.
Within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated 07.04.2016 (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”); the personal data you have shared with our Company (name, surname, alias, mobile phone numbers, e-mail addresses, date of birth, city of residence, address details, gender, marital status, shopping information, club memberships, level of education, areas of interest, tastes and preferences, image and voice recordings, payment information) in the context of a Supplier Relationship, the Customer Communication and Satisfaction Program and/or membership in Fiskobirlik Entegre Findik Işleme Tesisi A.Ş. ( EFIT ), Fiskomar A.Ş., Fiskobirlik Sigorta A.Ş. and the micro-applications and micro-sites to be launched by Fiskobirlik, the services offered in our stores, and the Agreements signed in the capacity of tenant or lessor, will be stored, recorded and updated by our Company in accordance with the Law, and may, in the manner permitted by the legislation, be transferred to third parties such as the courier companies with which we have a contractual relationship, the relevant banks for the purpose of payment via virtual POS, e-commerce sites, social media sites (such as Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Linkedin, Yandex, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitch, TikTok, Oracle BlueKai, Bip), our suppliers, our Customer Communication and Satisfaction Program partners, and legally authorized public institutions and organizations, and may be processed in the manners set forth in the Law.
Processing of Your Personal Data:
Pursuant to the Law, any operation performed on data, such as the collection, recording, storage, retention, alteration, reorganization, disclosure, transfer, takeover, making available, classification or prevention of use of personal data by wholly or partially automated means, or by non-automated means provided that it forms part of a data filing system, is deemed to constitute the “processing of personal data.”
Method of Collection of Your Personal Data:
Your personal data are stored by various methods, whether verbally, in writing or in electronic form, through various channels such as the information you provide to us through our retail stores, our call center, our corporate websites, our mobile site, or by e-mail, SMS or other means, or in the course of our business relationships, at the stage of signing commercial agreements and/or during the term of the commercial relationship; the technical communication files known as “cookies” (small files placed on your hard drive) that enable our computers to recognize you automatically when you visit our website; and physical forms.
Your personal data are processed on the basis of the explicit consent of our customers and the legal grounds set forth in Article 5 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
In order to provide better service to its customers and members, and within the framework of its legal obligations, Fiskobirlik will collect, process, share with third parties and securely store your browsing information, provided that it is not used for purposes or in a scope other than those specified in this Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data. Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data:
Your collected personal data may be processed by FISKOBIRLIK in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated by the Law and within the conditions and purposes of personal data processing set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, for the following purposes:
• To promote the goods and services offered by our Company, to get to know members and enhance communication, to enhance our image, to improve our products, services and communication, to register members with the affiliates established by Fiskobirlik, namely Fiskobirlik Entegre Findik Işleme Tesisi A.Ş. ( EFIT ), Fiskomar A.Ş. and Fiskobirlik Sigorta A.Ş., to prepare and send member-specific promotions/advertisements/campaigns and announcements, to provide customers with a better shopping experience, to conduct customer surveys, customer satisfaction practices and notifications, and to use the data for auditing, data analysis, research, statistical studies, understanding trends, and marketing and advertising services
• Performance of the necessary work by our relevant business units for the carrying out of the commercial activities conducted by the Company, and the execution of the related business processes
• Planning and execution of the Company’s commercial and/or business strategies
• Ensuring the legal, technical and commercial/business security of the Company and of the relevant persons who have a business relationship with the Company
• To verify the identity information of persons making or placing purchases through the website/mobile applications, to record address and other necessary information for communication purposes, to prepare all records and documents that will serve as the basis for the transaction in electronic (internet/mobile, etc.) or paper form,
• To carry out the process of providing advisory services to our customers and suppliers,
• To perform the obligations undertaken under the agreements we have concluded pursuant to the provisions of the relevant legislation, to fulfill our legal obligations and to exercise our rights arising from the applicable legislation,
• To provide information to public officials upon request and as required by legislation in matters relating to public security,
• To be used as evidence in any disputes that may arise

Transfer of Your Personal Data:
Your Personal Data are collected through various channels for the purpose of carrying out the Company’s activities, on the legal grounds of ensuring compliance with legislation and Company policies. Your collected personal data may be transferred by FISKOBIRLIK, in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated by the Law and within the conditions and purposes of personal data processing set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for the purposes stated above, directly or indirectly, to our domestic and foreign business partners, our suppliers, social media sites (such as Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Linkedin, Yandex, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitch, TikTok, Oracle BlueKai, Bip), FISKOBIRLIK affiliates, the *FISKOBIRLIK Family, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, legally authorized private law persons, and group entities.
*The entities referred to as the Fiskobirlik Family are Fiskobirlik’s Management Shareholders , the subsidiaries, affiliates , sub-entities, enterprises, service providers and/or subcontractors and affiliated companies of the Management Shareholders and of Migros, and GSM Operators / persons.
Your Rights as a Data Subject:
By applying to S.S. Hazelnut Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union in its capacity as data controller with regard to the processing of your Personal Data, you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data:
a. To learn whether your personal data have been processed,
b. To request information in this regard if your personal data have been processed,
c. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
ç. To know the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred, whether domestically or abroad,
d. To request the rectification of your personal data if they have been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
e. To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
f. To request that the operations carried out pursuant to paragraphs (d) and (e) above be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
g. To object to the occurrence of a result to your detriment through the analysis of the processed data exclusively by means of automated systems, and
ğ. To claim compensation for damages in the event that you suffer damage due to the processing of your personal data in violation of the Law,
You may submit your applications regarding the rights listed above by completing the S.S. Hazelnut Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union Data Subject Application Form in accordance with the instructions set out therein, and delivering a signed copy of the form in person, together with documents establishing your identity, to the address Hacisiyam Mah. Fatih Cad. No : 59/1 Merkez / Giresun, sending it through a notary public or by the other methods specified in the Law, or submitting the relevant form with a secure electronic signature to fiskobirlik@fiskobirlik.org.tr. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; however, should an additional cost arise, the Company reserves the right to charge you a fee in accordance with the tariff to be determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
